Girls Soccer scores big again in winThursday, September 24, 2015 The Newington and New Britain girls soccer teams are going in different directions early in the season after a decisive 7-0 victory for the Indians. With the score 3-0 at the half, Newington continued to run away with the game, adding four more goals in the final half. The Indians outshot the Hurricanes 25-3, while Kaila Lozada continues to be an offensive force. With three more goals on Tuesday, the Newington senior has scored a hat trick in each of her team’s first three games of the season. “She was all state her freshman, sophomore and junior years,” Newington head coach Adam Wilkinson said. “She’s basically picked up where she left off.” Kayla LaRosa, Zoe Walk, Mackenzie Luiz and Lindsey Boyko added the other four goals for Newington.
